Things happen for reasons we can not know. Do not think about what if I had done this or not done that. Don't blame yourself.

My wife is diagnosed with Luekemia and given 3 years to live. (hopefull she'll make more). I've been wondering if I pushed her too hard, too hard to make money with me, buy a house with me, buy new cars with me, take care of the kids, etc. I feel like I broke her. I've got three other ways in which disease could be my fault.

It isn't up to us who lives and who dies. It isn't fair, it doesn't seem right. We have kids 10 and 11 years old, why do they lose their mother!?

Yet, God or whatever higher intelligence there is at work, whomever plans these things, has a higher reason that I could know perhaps. It doesn't make it any easier.

Talk to people Rita. Being on this web site might make you cry, I know it does me, but we are sharing our pain and making it easier for all of use to bear it.

Talk to people you can find who have lost their spouse. Don't shut yourself off.

God bless you.
Robert
