Widowed Young Person's Support Group

WIDOWED YOUNG PERSONS' SUPPORT GROUP

The Widowed Young Persons' Support Group is an on-going drop in grief group for younger men and women (ages 20-50) in their first year of grief who are widowed or have lost a partner.  It meets every Monday night from 7:30-9:30 p.m. in downtown Seattle. Attendance generally ranges from 4-10 people. There is a suggested donation of $20.00. This support group offers a safe place to gain information about the grief process and how it may be affecting you.  Join others who are facing similar experiences and learn how to help yourself through this difficult time.

Beverly is a certified marriage and family counselor with a private practice in Bellevue and can bill insurance. She was the Bereavement Coordinator for Group Health Hospice for 1 1/2 years and has been involved with the Western Washington Bereavement Network for the past 6 years, most recently acting as treasurer.   Beverly is a widow who also provides a personal perspective through the grief journey. Call 206-441-3556 for more information.
