Gene,
I just discovered much information on the Internet relating to widows and grieving. I am unfamiliar using a
chat-room type system and saw that you responded to several resquests for new sites for young widows. If
you could pass on some of those sites to me I would be very appreciative. I have been a widow for one
year, after a 20-year marriage. I have two teenage daughters and we have been through therapy together.
I feel I am in the middle of the young and elder widows, being 52 years old. I haven't found a group locally
that can address the issues I have to deal with for my age. Most of the woman (only two men in the group)
are over 60 and have been married for years. We, of courage, experience and share many of the same
feelings, concerns and needs, but it would be wonderful to talk or communicate with someone near my age.
