I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I , too, was widowed that very week, as my 28 year old husband and the father of my two sons was killed instantly in an automobile accident on his way to work. I am finding things are getting harder instead of easier. My feelings change from moment to moment, too. But I promise I will keep you in my prayers. I think all we can do is try not to lose faith, because without it, we have no hope.
No relationship is without failure and regret, either. You will feel guilty, as I do. I cry myself to sleep every night, talking to my husband, telling him I'm sorry that I wasn't a better wife. I'm sure it's normal. Try reading some books on grief. It has helped me. Just talking helps a lot, too.
Like I said, I am very, very sorry. You and your daughter will be in my prayers.
