yes there is a connection after a spouse dies. I belong to the church of Jesus christ of Latter Day Saints. We believe that families are eternal, that one doesn't just get born only to live and die. Families are forever. If you want more information on the subject contact your local LDS church. Missionaries are there to help you understand the plan of salvation that will lead to eternal life.
I lost my first husband, but believe in my heart and through what my church teaches that we will be reunited to live forever according to God's plan.
