Wow! I feel your pain. I am a 33 year old widow. My husband was only 37 years old when he past a few months ago. I am blessed with a 9 month old son.
It sounds like you have alot of cherished memories with your husband. Thank God for our memories to comfort us.
It seems like lately, my memories are coming back to me also. I write them down as I remember.I had a wonderful 9 years of knowing him.
This Tuesday we would of been married 3 years.
You are so blessed to have twins. At least you can look at their sweet faces and see your husband. That's what I do everyday when I see my son. I know that it hurts that your husband is not here to share your joy with your daughters. I cry sometimes when I look into my son's eyes. He is not going to have the great experience of knowing his dad. I will do my best to keep his memory alive.
Do you have any ideas on that keeping the memory alive? I am in the process of making a scrapbook of my husband's life for my son when he gets older. I am trying to get baby, teen pictures etc.
I will take my son the cemetry on Father's day every year. I am lucky that my husband's birthday is around father's day. (2 for 1) and maybe for the holidays as well.
