I know I am a bit older than you, but I had to face the harsh reality that my husband would never be more than a vegetable. My husband was diagnosed with Alzheimers at the age of 48. He was in the hospital when he had a heart attack and they told me there was no body or brain activity. I watched a machine breath for him for three days of hell. I know in my heart he died when he had that heart attack, but I was selfish and just couldn't let him go. He is at peace now. He suffered like no one should suffer. I am in total anguish, even after losing him seven months ago. I pray for you. We were so lucky to have them, even though they were taken from us too soon
