On December 16, 1997, my husband of 25 years died of cancer. After several 6 week notices that my husband was going to die I prepared myself for it. Little did I know that on December 14, 1997, our youngest son, then 23 years old would take his own life. I can only thank God that at that time my husband was in a coma and he didn't know. It is always difficult during the holidays.
