Hi Mike. I'm pretty sure there are groups for widows and widowers in your area. Call the local hospitals and find out about hospice programs. They usually have information. Sometimes funeral homes also know about groups. As I wrote to someone tonight in Washington D.C. with the tragic loss of life in New York there will probably be publicity about groups. Ask to speak to the social worker at the hospice- or you can also call local cancer societies or cancer wards of hospitals and ask to speak to the social worker. I think groups are so important. They make such a difference. Good luck.
