I just wanted to let you know I lost my husband a little over 2 years ago to an infection he got during a surgery he was having as a result of a basketball accident. Two months after the surgery we found out the infection was terminal and three months later he passed away. I do not have children either and wish I did. If you ever need someone to talk to, please let me know. The pain never goes away but it does become more manageable as you find your way through this and rebuild your hopes and dreams.
