The weekend of May 18 2001 was suppose to be happy and exciting. My sister,my niece and I had packed our bags that Friday morning and headed down the shore. We met up with my aunt and uncle and their son down there at our hotel. We did the rides and played the games until we headed back to our room and had ssettled down. My sister her friend and I began to have a deep conversation about death. The very last thing I said before I went to bed was "I dont know what I would do if my sister, friends, or any of my cousins died". 8 am the next day my aunt and uncle were knocking on our door, for what we thought a joke. My sister opened the door and we got the worst news of our lives. I will remember these words forever "Lori Anne was in a car accident last night" I just knew she had died. Not only did my 21 yr old cousin die but so did her boyfriend of 3 years. They went together up to heaven and now they are my angels. Lori was suppose to graduate from nursing school on June 7th. She was so excited. She never got too. It was the hardest week of my life and everyday I think of her and Luke. I will always miss her but never forget her.
